The shower water was consistently cold, even after addressing the issue. During load shedding, there was no water at all, making basic activities like bathing impossible. The shared hot tub experience often leads to overcrowding, detracting from relaxation. the property has fallen into disrepair. the main pool was closed for repair work, leaving guests to contend with a crowded smaller pool disrupted by noise and dust. Finally, the breakfast left much to be desired. the meats seemed poorly managed, leading to contamination concerns.

our stay was enjoyable, with well-maintained facilities and clean, comfortable rooms. We were just a short stroll away from Montagu Museum and the beautiful Montagu Nature Garden, perfect for leisurely walks and exploration.

the hot springs were nice but the shower was cold—really shouldn't be an issue at a hotel, for heaven's sake! animal droppings on the deck? wow, so charming. and what kind of service is it that doesn't offer even a complimentary bottle of water to someone who clearly deserves it? almost gave a better rating, but just couldn't.

the rooms are well-equipped and built into the hillside. the swimming pools have varying temperatures, making it a delight for all ages. the friendly staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

Spent a weekend at Avalon Springs and I loved the pools. Each morning started with a relaxing soak in the hot springs, which had soothing temperatures. The room was clean and cozy, providing a welcoming space to unwind. I appreciated the well-stocked kitchen making it easy to prepare simple meals. the noise levels in the mornings were disruptive, especially from staff chatter. The jacuzzi was way too hot for my family, almost unbearable, which we didn't expect. A noticeable issue was the music from the bar at night. it was loud and felt more suited to a club than a relaxing evening by the pool. These factors made it hard to fully enjoy the serene environment. Nonetheless, the overall experience was pleasant and had potential with some adjustments.

The property is well-maintained with chalets that offer incredible views, and the jacuzzi is a hit among younger guests. It's perfect for a weekend getaway, especially with nearby wine tasting options on Route 62.

Despite the nice accommodations, there were issues with pool cleanliness, as guests reported grass and dirt accumulating. The noise levels around the pools left something to be desired, with boisterous guests consuming alcohol in areas that should have been more monitored, detracting from the overall relaxation experience.

We had an enjoyable time in a lovely two-bedroom chalet with a hot tub, and the attention to detail was fantastic. The indoor and outdoor pools were perfect for relaxation, especially with the hot spring baths adding a nice touch. Just a heads-up, the outdoor area had some cleanliness issues that could be improved, but overall, the experience was delightful! 😊
